Front/Rear Cover Gasket( 38 items )
Uses of Front/Rear Cover Gasket
The front/timing cover protects parts such as the timing belt, timing gears or timing chain. The rear cover’s primary purpose is to keep oil sealed inside the back of the engine, which is where the crankshaft and the transmission connect.
Solving the oil leaks from the engine is an essential mission of the front cover gasket (timing cover gasket) and the rear cover gasket. They need to withstand high oil pressure. Rubber is commonly used in these gaskets because of its strength; it is resilient, hard to tear and resists abrasions. Also, MLS and non-asbestos are very effective for these gaskets.
