Plate Heat Exchanger Gasket | How does a PHE gasket work?
Plate heat exchanger (PHE) is a type of heat exchangers. It uses several metal plates to exchange heat between fluids. Plate heat exchangers are used on marine engines, food, beverages…etc.
The sizes of plate heat exchanger are wide from around 30” to 80”. The plate heat exchanger gaskets are fixed with glue or clips in the grooves.
There are two types – Diagonal Flow Gasket and Parallel Flow Gasket. The materials for heat exchanger rubber sealing trip gaskets are mostly NBR, EPDM and FKM. The plate heat exchanger gaskets we offer are for the marine engines – Caterpillar, MTU, Volvo Penta.
