Custom Rubber Gaskets Material – Elastomer

Custom Rubber Gaskets Material – Elastomer

Rubber gaskets are commonly seen, it can be many different forms and use on multiple industries. In engine field, we can see rubber gaskets used in every location; rubber grommets on cylinder head gasket, rubber valve cover gasket, rubber press in place gasket, rubber oil pan gaskets. Because of the wild range of different rubber types, you can easily choose the right rubber material for the gaskets correspond to the applied area.

From higher temperature to lower temperature, high pressure to non-high-pressure area in an engine, we provide NBR, HNBR, EPDM, ACM, AEM, SILICONE, FKM to match above different combined conditions. Rubber is often bonded with metal to reinforce the gasket function. See Rubber Bonded Metal and Steel with Advanced Coating materials for more information.

MJ keeps providing you custom rubber gaskets which fit your needs. We offer custom rubber gaskets in a wide range of rubber materials, including:

  • Nitrile butadiene rubber (NBR)
    Hardness (Shore A): 40-90
NBR’s ability to withstand a range of temperatures from −35 to +120 °C
  • Hydrogenated Nitrile Rubber (HNBR)
    Hardness (Shore A): 40-90
HNBR’s ability to withstand a range of temperatures from −40 to +165 °C
  • Ethylene Propylene Rubber (EPDM)
